Praise and thanks to the most High God for His grace and mercy. On June 8th, 2025 The New York North District (NYND) inducted Rev. Thomas Kwasi Amponsah Mantey as the Minister in Charge of the Victory Congregation in Albany, New York. Present at the induction service was the District Minister In Charge of NYND and Ebenezer Congregation in the Bronx, Rev. Felix Addo Botchway, Rev. Samuel Boateng from Christ Congregation, Mr. George Adjetey, District Lay Rep, Mrs. Joyce Ahadzie, District Clerk and Rev. Dr. K. Amoakumah Rtd.
Also present at the ceremony, were representatives from sister congregations; Ebenezer - Bronx, Emmanuel - Syracuse, Bethel and Christ Congregations.
The Sermon was delivered by Rev. Dr Amoakumah on the theme, "Celebrating our heritage: Persisting in mission. The bible reading was taken from 1 Corinthians 15:58.
Rev. Thomas in his response address, thanked God, his family, the church and all who in diverse ways have help bring him to this day.
The Session and Congregation of Victory, thanks all who in one way or the other made this program a success. God richly bless you.
